The Catherine Kennedy Home Foundation Awards Grant

Thank you to the Directors of The Catherine Kennedy Home Foundation, Inc. for recently awarding the Shelter with a $7,000 grant to support programs and services specifically targeting victims of elder abuse in New Hanover County.

Proceeds from this grant will help the Shelter staff reinstate the Elder Abuse Support Group, the Golden Voices, and help maintain direct services for victims of elder abuse. Our goal is to continue to expand education and outreach opportunities for this population as well.

The objective of The Catherine Kennedy Home Foundation is to promote the welfare of the elderly of southeastern North Carolina. The Foundation is a private foundation created in 2001.
